Payers—especially Medicare—have dealt PTs, OTs, and SLPs a lot of blows over the years. Their latest one-two punch? A 3.6% payment reduction in addition to the 15% cut to reimbursement rates for PTA and OTA services beginning in 2022. And as any rehab therapist can tell you, payment rates weren’t all that great to begin with. Add that to the lingering financial distress of the pandemic, and it certainly seems like the rehab therapy community is punching above their weight.
But, these cuts don’t have to be rehab’s KO. In fact, clinics that are willing to adapt have an opportunity to shift the trajectory of the entire industry in a direction that’s good for everyone—including patients. That’s where we come in.
Join rehab therapy business expert Dr. Heidi Jannenga, PT, DPT, ATC, WebPT Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer, for a free live webinar at 9:00 AM PST (12:00 PM EST) on February 17 to learn proven strategies therapists, clinic owners, and administrators can use to combat the impact of payment reductions in their organizations.
During this webinar, we’ll:
- Explain how to shore up clinic operations to achieve maximum efficiency;
- Cover modern direct access marketing best practices; and
- Detail alternative revenue opportunities for rehab therapy providers.
