Welcome Ashley Glover, WebPT’s New CEO

I have some exciting news to share! As of November 1, Ashley Glover has joined WebPT’s ranks as our new CEO. We are stoked to have someone of her caliber—and character—join our team. And on a personal note, the news is even more exciting because I am announcing another woman at the helm of our awesome company!

Alongside my enthusiasm for Ashley’s arrival, I want to applaud the dedication, service, and transformative contributions Nancy Ham has made to WebPT—and our industry—over these past five years as our CEO. I’m also happy to share that Nancy will be stepping into her new role as WebPT’s Board Chair, where she will help further our industry’s reach and overall impact.

Before I tell you a bit more about our new CEO, it’s important to me to relay to you all that I will remain a steadfast fixture of WebPT as co-founder, board member, and Chief Clinical Officer. In other words—I’m not going anywhere! As companies grow and evolve, it’s not uncommon for change to occur. New faces and talent provide us with opportunities for growth and fresh perspectives. So, while saying goodbye to one of our fixtures is bittersweet, we are extremely grateful to welcome Ashley to the next chapter of WebPT’s journey. 

Get to know our new CEO.

Ashley comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge in growing, scaling, and leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies. Most recently, Ashley served as President of RealPage, the real estate industry’s largest SaaS and data science solution provider. Additionally, she was part of an executive team that made RealPage public on the Nasdaq in 2010. And, while overseeing the company’s $1.1B+ multifamily segment P&L—including its product, go-to-market, and customer success teams—she also managed RealPage’s global operations in India, the Philippines, Spain, and the UK. 

Although not immediately intuitive, the parallels between property management and clinic management are uncanny from the need for analytics, business intelligence, portals for access, documentation, and of course revenue management. Her technology and operational experience, customer-centric and people-centric focus were what set her apart from the many candidates interested in—and interviewed for—this coveted position.

A WebPTer at Heart

While we are certainly impressed by Ashley’s proven leadership in the SaaS space, we are equally inspired by her core values, people-first approach, and compatibility with WebPT’s culture. These attributes are not only evident in Ashley’s professional track record, but are also reflected in her numerous references and demand within the tech market (we weren’t the only ones who really, really wanted Ashley aboard!).

As part of the WebPT family, Ashley’s focus is to level-up service to our Members by helping us strengthen and refine our next phase of growth. Of course, Ashley and I will also work closely to not only ensure that the things you love most about WebPT products and services continue, but that we also take them to the next level of execution and innovation. 

Home on the Ranch

When Ashley isn’t strategizing with us here at WebPT, you can find her on her picturesque horse ranch with her family, which comprises humans and animals. She currently resides in Dallas with her husband Kris, daughters Rivers, Autumn, and son John Foster. The ranch is also home to a few horses, two dogs, and a growing number of other critters. 

What’s ahead for WebPT?

We are heading to the Private Section Conference (PPS) next week, where Ashley will be available to say hello to our WebPT Members. In her first 90 days, she also plans on completing quite a few ‘town-hall” meetings—both in-person and virtually—to get a better understanding of our Members, the market, and how our mission-critical application best serves the industry.

The evolution of great companies is the mark of growth, opportunity, and scaling to new heights. So, while I celebrate this news with you, I can’t emphasize enough that this change is a positive one. WebPT, with the financial backing of Warburg Pincus, is solidly positioned as the physical therapy industry’s market-leading software, with: 

• 40% EMR market share, 
• nearly 50% of the market using part of our platform, and
• more cutting-edge products in the pipeline. 

While we forge ahead, you can continue to rely on us to be your trusted business partner and thought leader. With Ashley at the helm, we remain focused on our goal to advocate for moving the rehab therapy industry forward and delivering high-quality service to our Members.
