APTA's "Spotlight on Physical Therapy Private Practice and Small Business" handout highlights how the health care reform law will affect physical therapists who own or work in small businesses. This resource details the various payment, practice, coverage, and tax provisions in the law that are currently in effect or will go into effect in the future. Handouts on skilled nursing facilities and home health settings also are available. Go to APTA's Issue in Focus for handouts on accountable care organizations, the individual mandate, health care insurance exchanges, quality improvement initiatives, and more.
