eDoc™ is an add-on option to the standard WebPT service which allows clinics to upload external patient documents to the patient records page in the WebPT DM system. With eDoc™ physical therapists can go paperless and can easily access patients' documents in one central location. This is the most efficient way for a clinic to be a part of the physical therapy EMR movement. Examples of items that can be uploaded to eDoc™ include: Patient Signed Consent Forms, Patient Intake Forms, Physician Referrals, and much more. eDoc™ will work in conjunction with WebPT Archiving Services ( see section on Archiving Services) to provide an offsite fault-tolerant backup for clinics' EMR records.
